-Youngest member of Johannesburg Stock Exchange at 23.
-Partner at family Investment Bank.
-Oversaw nationwide trading desk, launched derivatives division, founding member of equities options exchange and large market maker amongst other trading duties.
-Participated in the advisory division that assisted small to medium size enterprise and start-ups with financing, strategy, marketing and other business development.
-Conceptualized, built and ran Caffe Tre Scalini group which became a landmark restaurant/gelateria in Johannesburg. Chairman of the Gauteng restaurant association.
-Moved to Boston in 2000 and joined Carlin Financial Group as Boston branch manager where I returned the branch to profitability by focusing on trading, developing and installing sophisticated electronic trading systems for hedge funds and institutions. Carlin was sold to RBC in 2006.
-Currently holds stakes in Power Play Development Corp, an advergaming and online brand promotion business, VIGIX, an automated retail technology provider and Zync, an online recommendation engine for dining, entertainment and more. Positions and investments change all the time. I also trade the equity markets actively and blog about them at Trading, Investing and a look into the future.
- Advise on strategy, funding, corporate structure and business development on a near full time basis.
